A New Way To Relax

13th November 2006

Sabai Sabai restaurant opens in Leamington Spa

The combined flavours of Bangkok, Tokyo and Beijing have landed in Royal Leamington Spa. Sabai Sabai is an ultra modern contemporary Pan-Asian style restaurant opening on Regent Street in Leamington Spa on Thursday 16th November 2006. It has taken over three years to open, is part of a £1.5m development project and has already been nominated for the most Ambitious Small Project Award by Leamington Town Council.

Over 50 different contractors have been involved in converting the Grade II listed building into a split-level restaurant. Naysan Mali, Project Manager comments:

"The meetings, planning, design, construction and fit-out of this project has caused plenty of blood, sweat and tears over the last three years. But seeing Sabai open has been worth it. The layout, technology and design is unique – come see us and see why. The journey has been long but rewarding - an incredible achievement and a credit to all those involved".

Sabai Sabai chefs were trained in Thailand and are very experienced with their combined knowledge of flavours and Pan-Asian styles. You will feel as though you have been taken across the other side of the world for dinner.

Natda Chanakul, Sabai Sabai owner says: "In Thai, Sabai means 'to relax' and this is the atmosphere we have created inside. The layout makes it an ideal place for celebrations, private meetings, lunch or a romantic dinner for two. Everyone is very excited about the opening…we have already been getting lots of Christmas bookings!"
